Settlement Health center operates at 212 East 106th Street (between 2nd and 3rd Avenues) and has been serving the community of East Harlem since 1977. Settlement Health is a non profit community health center dedicated to providing high quality primary medical care to all who seek and need it. Settlement Health also offers specialty care referrals through our affiliation with Mount Sinai Hospital.
Settlement Health provides a full range of primary care services: prenatal, pediatrics, adolescent, adult and geriatric care which is delivered in three Unit Areas; Pediatric (1st Floor), Women’s Health (1st Floor) and Adult (2nd Floor) Units. Specialty services are routinely coordinated with other physicians and local hospitals (Mount Sinai, North General and Metropolitan Hospitals). The health center also offers individual consultation in the areas of nutrition, GYN, and diabetes.
In addition to these primary health care services, Settlement Health offers numerous supportive and educational services, including HIV counseling and testing services, comprehensive primary care services and case management services for those who are HIV+ or have AIDS, HIV/AIDS support groups and activities, parenting groups, childbirth classes, and a range of support and educational groups for the community.
Our high quality services are available to citizens of all countries who reside in the Greater New York area, regardless of age, race, gender, language, origin, religion, or disabilities.
